Whoo Hooo! PONIES!!1!

I _know_ the post title is weird.. couldn’t think of anything else for the content that follows! :roll:

Well, I finally managed to convince dad to fund (some of) my ‘To-Buy List‘.. Stuff I bought:

  1. DELL SP2208WFP 22″ LCD Display
  2. 2GB (1×2GB sticks) of DDR2-800 RAM
  3. 500GB Hard Drive
  4. Logitech MX518 Mouse

The display is quite good! Though it was BRIGHT (way too bright), I managed to correctly tweak it to suit my preference. (Had to use Adobe Gamma and ATI Catalyst Drivers to correctly set the Gamma and Brightness)

Hard Drive and RAM were much needed upgrades. Logitech MX518 intends to replace my dead ol’ MX700 Mouse.. The On-the-fly sensitivity adjustment really rocks! The mouse is smooth too (good feet). And new chair coming this week (*phew* No more RSI.. Yay!)

Sadly, My onboard graphics chip ATI x1250 is weak to run games at my new display’s native resolution. I managed to use Powerstrip to add a custom 6:10 resolution [1024x640]. (And NO, I _wont_ buy a Graphics Card)

Other than that, I was a little busy for a few weeks (some personal work, some work in uncle’s office). I also started going to Gym (friggin’ finally). I’ll start to work on _something_ for now.. and yeh, I let my LambdaSector domain names expire. I don’t think there is any use for them (read: I’m not interested in serious blogging).

*sigh*

Edit: Almost forgot, Santosh too wrote his To-Buy List and bought some gadgets quite recently!

    Wha? Why in the world did you let LS.com expire? You should’ve at least renewed that. Good PageRank, I think it’ll be snapped up by someone soon. (I would have, if it were a year back.)

    And what gamma settings? It’s pretty good for me. The RGB settings you gave me works perfectly.

    And enjoy the mouse. It’s lovely, the best IMO.

    The Lambda Sector domains seems to have already been scrapped. These people do act fast. ;)

    BTW, when are you going to release the WP themes you were/are working on? I’m eagerly waiting for them.

    PS : I’ll be celebrating my 18th birthday next week; and coincidentally on the same day as yours. :D
    Too bad I have my Physics exam on that day.
