Just updated my blog’s installation of WordPress to 2.5. I had been messing around with the Release Candidates for the last few weeks and the new one sure has lot of improvements (especially to the Admin Control Panel).

I also updated the current theme, removed some deprecated code, added an About box and support for Gravatars (which WP2.5 supports by default)
On my end. Learned about and started to use Subversion for my projects (I’ve surely been missing a lot!) and had started to work on XRedir, A small redirect script thingie (going on at a VERY slow pace)
I’ll be (re)starting my work on lambdasector soon. Hope I get some Inspiration (been too bored to do _anything_ these days) 
Well.. It’s been a really long time since I updated my ‘weblog’. It’s not that I’m too lazy, but I really don’t have anything much to say! (My life is going on in a very slow pace that is.)
Small snippets on what all happened since Dec 2007:
- My workstation ‘died’ (read: burnt). Had to build a new one. Settled for a AMD X2 5600+
- Bought some Electronics ‘for dummies’ books and started learning/creating some small circuits. I had a passion for electronics when I was a Kid. Sadly, a gift (an old 80286 based PC) from my uncle changed that.
- ExperTrio (finally) went online.
- Started designing some xHTML and WordPress templates, They’ll be released for free soon and they’re for my Portfolio.
Can’t really think of anything interesting other than that! I’ll make sure (promise myself) to regularly update my journal. So till next time!
