All Right! After a series of unfortunate incidents, I Get to post a log again. After a long time that is! There’s nothing much to say about what happened to my four ‘wasted’ months, But Still..

1. I Shifted my home on Mid-October 2006, so had to get my land-line to my new residence, Unfortunately Airtel, which was my ISP informed me that it’s impossible to shift my connection because their network is not available in the area I currently live in (and not-to-mention that it’s just <1km from my old residence). I Applied for a BSNL land-line and aDSL connection, to my surprise I got the line within 4 weeks, but it was the Net I badly wanted, But what can I say, they still haven’t provided it to me and it’s been 3 months! I’ve visited their office numerous times, only to be given some damn reason (”Our port capacity is full, it will take average 5 months”). But very recently, TRAI announced faster broadband and MORE Ports!.

Finally I Applied for Tata Indicom Broadband 4 Weeks ago. Got the Connection 2 Days ago. I Was quite afraid of their service after reading all the Posts online. Unfortunately, Minus a few ‘regular’ interruption in connectivity, Its quite stable as of now. Cant say anything about the future.

2. My PC died almost the same time, Got myself a burnt SMPS and ‘Overclocked’ Memory, and I inadvertently removed the heat-sink from my Graphics Card, so had to source Thermal Paste. Now its working optimally. (But I have a feeling that I need to double my Memory, for Vista’s Sake)

3. I Seemed to have missed a LOT of news. All which I was keeping an eye on for over a Year! I Really grudge some of my online buddies.

4. I Still haven’t used Windows Vista Final (However I’ve Tested the Betas and RCs) and good thing Microsoft is publicizing it a lot in India, Hope that will somewhat solve the Piracy problem. (Yes! I’ll buy it, only in 2008 though, along with my next Rig)

5. ExperTrio.. Hmm.. As Preshit said, its going to the dumps. All thanks to me! I Feel extremely guilty here, It Could’ve ‘flourished’ if it wasn’t for my “waiting-for-internet” part. But Still, all is not lost and there is still a lot of time for it! And not-to-mention I have some good plans for it. I can’t wait to implement it!

6. I developed Feeder, a RSS Feed Reader Wordpress Plug-in which aggregates the feed into only Links and Titles and displays them. It has a Cache Feature which removes the lag of parsing ~35KB of Feed from a different server and displaying them every time the page is accessed.

That’s all I have to say for now, I wish I had the access to the net a little earlier, I was beginning to hate going to a Cafe every time I need to check mail, etc.
