There were quite a lot of things I tried to undo since the last 6 months.. I even went to the extent of trying to wipe out the history of my online activities. The reality: It didn’t go very well (obviously), maybe I was way too dependent on the internet(webs) than I had previously thought, I suppose withdrawal symptoms started to kick in or something.

I think I’m pretty much back to normal these days.. If I compare to my past-self, I’m not only old (duh), but I’ve become MORE lazy and unproductive than I previously was. (As some of you might have noticed) I’m back acting like a n00b/troll on Facebook/Twitter/CHIP.

I only wish I could make some friends easily.. but my introverted attitude is a ruin-it-all. Oh well, what’s done is done.. If there was a time machine, I could go back to 4 years ago, give my past self a hard kick on the arse and give him some gyaan. Now I just need to find new stuff that keeps me interested (like maybe messing with electronics and stuff.. which was my first love before I got my hands on a 80486. I still remember IC555 and the variable tones it used to produce, that was when I was 11-something)

As for now, only thing on my mind is the planned (monsoon) vacation in North India (which also involves a trip with dad to Udaipur/Rajsamand for buying some white marble), I’ll be leaving on 11^th July.. but I’ll cut out more details on that (because it deserves a separate blog post).

Also.. This “blog” won’t (ever) stay inactive for long periods of time. I’m dividing it into sections, Anime section will probably be very active.

Also Also.. Deceptive title was deceptive. Cake was obviously a lie.

I’ve only picked up Giant Killing this season. Just your regular football anime (similar to Hungry Heart) but focusing on the team manager who resurrects a losing team.

Seriously, either I’m losing taste or most recent Anime TV series are teh suck.. I mean, I only picked Sora no Woto for winter season.

Cleaned up all my old rants.. That’s around 3 years worth of über lameness. I really don’t have plans to resume my online activities, it sure fell apart rapidly since the last year and it’ll probably reach the event horizon soon.

I really can’t wait for the next 10 days to pass by quick, most of my mind-numbing obligations will be over and I can probably go on a looooong vacation somewhere just to free my mind.

Introducing xubzNv

As you might have noticed, my blog got itself a new theme. It’s named xubzNv and I had started designing it a few months ago (around a week before the great purge), but got the basics to work today. It’s looks simple and slick and I like it, but shitloads of coding is still incomplete (especially comments.php).

It’s the first time where I’ve used serif typeface for the text, I used to prefer sans-serif, but it looks fine I think. It also doesn’t have notable features that can be discussed, so I’ll leave it at that, I mean, it was designed as a simplistic dark theme and nothing more.

It’s like I suddenly got withdrawal symptoms.. which is essentially FAIL.

~~I’ll code up a quick theme to replace this ‘default’ one.. Heck, even the new ‘twentyten’ theme in the WordPress SVN is much better than this.~~ Edit: Found the old one in my svn repos, will do with this till new one attains usable levels. Edit-2: Found one more “in development” theme I like.. Still borked though, gotta fix.

I also used to make some rudimentary blog updates on the placeholder page. Archived them here. (again a FAIL moment)
